Dear Friends:
Very recently, a monumental works of historic relevance has been completed and is in the process of publication.
Entitled "Υμνολογικόν Λεξικόν Δύσκολων Λέξεων και Εννοιών των Ύμνων της Ορθοδόξου Εκκλησίας" (Hymnologic Lexicon of Difficult Words and Meanings of the Orthodox Church), it is a resource that is sure to be a treasure for the researcher of the Hymnology of the Orthodox Church equally as it will be indispensable for the servants of the analogion who wish to understand the root, source and meaning of words that are encountered in the PARAKLITIKI.
This is the culmination of years of work by the Archon Protopsaltis of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Canada, and Professor of Orthodox Studies at the University of Sherbrooke, Constantin Lagouros
