Mr. Georgios Papageorgiou studied Byzantine Music with Angelos Kounas and Charilaos Taliadoros.  He has been the choirmaster of the youth choir of the Metropolis of Ilia since 1990. For the same period of time he has been running the Byzantine Music school of the Metropolis, now counting around 150 students.
